This list of CD's comprises items I will exchange for the forthcoming Fixx B-sides compilation, double-disc set, as offered on the Fixx mailing list. When it's done. Stay tuned.
Promos and used copies are fine! I expect a disc to be free of skips and the booklet should be in "very good" condition, unless you indicate otherwise. (State of the jewel case is unimportant if it's a standard black insert tray and clear case which I can easily replace.) I am NOT interested in CDR copies of CD's. A trade is always negotiable: let me know your proposal.
Anyone who knows how to walk into a store and buy a new or used CD is capable of arranging a trade. Most of these list items are available. The ones that are harder to find are so noted.
I may know where items are available for ordering online. Some CD's are out on independent labels and are not as easy to find at major retailers. I have a rough 'annotated' list of resources, for finding the less common discs online, in used shops, new, etc. available on request. As always, eBay is a powerful resource.
WHAT IS ON THE LISTS:
1. The first section is a very short list of SINGLE DISCS I would trade the collection for - these CD's are imports and some hard to find things; of course some people may know where to get an inexpensive used copy, may live in a country where it is cheaper or easier to get a hold of, or may be willing to give up their own copy; as with this entire set of lists, hopefully you can use it to YOUR advantage!
2. The second section, things I would ask for TWO DISCS in trade for, are all in print and available, except for a small minority that are out of print (notated "OP"). These are, with few exceptions, readily available: in retail stores, online stores, from record clubs, or bought used from individuals or businesses online.
3. Third section includes the most common discs, asking for THREE DISCS in exchange. These are all available, moreso than as described in section 2, above.
4. At the end of the listings is a pointer to a very short list of rare CD's/vinyl/videos, which is only for those with the knowledge/familiarity/resources, or may happen to own an extra copy. Of course these can also be found online, depending on the scarcity of the particular item.
