Rupert has also worked with such acts as Rush, Tiny Turner, and most recently produced Duncan Shiek's debut album. January '97 The boys are apparently back in the study spiffing up the album again. Apparently some new songs are being recorded, and a few dropped. December/January, '97 theFixx played several small clubs around the US promoting their upcoming new album. November 1st, 96 Jeff Neben sent mail to the list saying that they boys are done recording their new album "Happy Landings". No word yet on when it will be released. It sounds fantastic, and contains the entire night's performance, plus a sound check of "Stand or Fall". November, 95 News from Jeff Neben: We have recently concluded a deal with the King Biscuit Flower Hour people to release [a new live] recording. The CD and Cassette will be released in January 1996 on King Biscuit/BMG and should retail for around $12.98 the catalogue # is KB456. The live recording was made in 1982 at "My Father's Place" in Rosyln L.I. September, 95 The Fixx's manager - Jeff Neben - is also on the mail alias, and has been providing us with some inside news - including the news that The Fixx are working on a new studio album. October, 95 Lead singer Cy Curnin is on the net, and has joined our mail list!
